报告摘要:The strong demand on various kinds of improved and even new consumer electronics products seems never being satisfied, but continuing its growth in an accelerated rate. One of important items is high-quality color image display. Thanks to the advance on display technology, the size of display gets larger and larger, while at a very affordable price for the households. For keeping abreast with the hardware advancement, advanced image processing techniques need to be actively investigated as well. In this talk, the speaker will highlight some state-of-the-art techniques invented from his spearheaded research group. While there are other attributes towards to ultra-high resolution image display, the following three components will be more focused in this talk: image interpolation, super-resolution, and demosaicking.
报告人简介:马凯光现为新加坡南洋理工大学电气与电子工程系教授。IEEE Fellow。长期担任IEEE Trans on Image Processing,IEEE Trans on Communications,IEEE Trans on Multimedia,IEEE Signal Processing Letters等国际顶级期刊的副主编职务。曾担任2004年国际图像处理大会(ICIP)共同主席,2013年国际可视通讯与图像处理大会(VCIP)共同主席。已发表论文100余篇,其中30余篇发表在IEEE汇刊上 (包括TPAMI, TIP, TMM, TCSVT等),论文总应用次数5826,H-因子为26。研究领域为数字图像处理与计算机视觉, 代表性研究成果包括:1) 入选MPEG-4标准的“钻石”搜索法(一种快速运动估计算法); 2) 2006年提出的图像去噪算法(IEEE TIP 15卷第6期)被认为是本领域的标杆性算法之一。
