Samuel Oguachuba, the Nigerian music producer and singer, who is popularly known as Samklef, has made a fresh claim.
He claimed that he and Wizkid are the “original creators of the new afrobeat sound”.

He said anyone who doubts his claim should consult Google.
Sharing a throwback picture of himself and Wizkid, he wrote, “The original creators of the new Afrobeat sound! Nack ur head for wall when u see this post. Samklef x wizkid. Go do ur home work guys. Google is there to help u. Aw! Aw!” (sic)
In another tweet, Samklef countered Davido’s claim that he and Wizkid were the first young Nigerian artistes to hit stardom.
The producer said Wizkid and Olamide were actually the kids that first blew up in the Nigerian music industry.
