Tottenham Hotspur are winless after five games in the English Premier League after a 2-1 loss to West Ham United in a London derby at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium on Thursday night. 

 

Super Eagles-eligible defender Destiny Udogie went the distance for Tottenham in his thirteenth appearance of the season. 

 

West Ham had to dig in and weathered the storm in the first half to secure a hard-fought big three points.

 

A goal from the Argentinean Cristian Romero separated the two teams at the break, but the Hammers dusted themselves down and came out with renewed vigor in the second half.

 

In a highly entertaining game, Jarrod Bowen smashed a shot into the back of the net to restore parity in the 52nd minute before James Ward-Prowse scored the game-winner sixteen minutes from time. 

 

Arsenal icon Ian Wright has blasted Udogie for the mistake that he made that led to West Ham’s winning goal.
