Nwaneri has trained with Arsenal’s first team on multiple occasions since his return from Young Lions duty at the 2023 Fifa U17 World Cup in Indonesia.
The 16-year-old received back-to-back call-ups for UEFA Champions League matches against Lens and PSV Eindhoven but was a non-playing substitute in both games.
